Your Tour Operator

Visiting the Walla Walla Valley and the Red Mountain Areas is an exciting experience! The grapevines, the hills, the vineyards, the Tasting Rooms, and Walla Walla's historic downtown area with all the friendly people - will be a part of your overall wine country visit. I will provide memorable experiences for all of you.

People often wonder what a Tour Guide is? Let me give you some insight into that question. Some jobs do not appear on career quizzes, and when you discover them, you wonder why you did not know about them earlier in your life! Being a tour guide/operator (an Operator is the company owner) is one of the most rewarding ways to spend your days: interacting with people and delivering experiences to guests that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Tour guides ensure that itineraries are put together with the client's desires and that they are met on the day of the tour. On the day of the tour, I ensure that customers are informed in an entertaining manner of the location they are touring. I am also responsible for ensuring the group's safety and that tour groups remain together so that we can arrive on time at our next stop.

When I show the way, the reassurance of first-hand knowledge and on-the-ground support feels more essential than ever. Tour operators are helpful barometers for our travel tastes. It is truly rewarding to hear from my clients at the end of a tour about their fabulous time and that they will be back again for V2.

A typical Wine Tour Itinerary from me: I will pick you and your party up at your stay location in time for us to travel to our first appointment. The number of local wineries toured will depend upon the tour you choose. Water will always be available throughout the day for you to stay hydrated and so that you can cleanse your palate between appointments. If your interested in including a lunch break during the tour, check out the options on the FAQ Page. Your tour will end with me returning your group back to stay location.

My Story

I have been a private tour operator since 2015 here in the Walla Walla Valley. I take pride in this magical place that I am fortunate to call home, and I can't wait to share it with you soon. I wasn't born in Walla Walla, but after living in the area for over 50 years, I consider myself an honorable native.

On my About Me Page, you will find more of my history as a Tour Guide in the Palouse with 12/15 photographer's from around the world each week during the Spring and Summer months, teaching photography as we toured the historic area.
