Personal Winery Tours is locally owned and operated by George Herbert; I am a professional tour operator that has lived in the Walla Walla Valley since 1973. After 50 years here, I have become very knowledgeable about Walla Walla and its world-class wineries.

I offer tours in three distinct regions: the enchanting Walla Walla Valley, the captivating Red Mountain AVA area near Benton City, WA, and the picturesque Rock District in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. My journey into the world of wine tours commenced in 2015, but the onset of the Covid pandemic compelled me to pause my operations for the safety of all involved. I'm thrilled to announce my return, now focusing on creating intimate experiences for smaller groups, accommodating up to six wine enthusiasts.

In these more intimate gatherings, you can truly savor the essence of each moment. My goal is to ensure you and your friends feel like VIPs throughout the day, free from the usual crowd constraints that often accompany larger tour groups. Your wine-tasting adventure should be a special, personal experience, and I'm here to make that a reality.

My motto states, "We Wine a Little and Laugh a lot!" on my tours in the Walla Walla Valley and the Red Mountain areas. I work hard to make sure that you have a memorable time.
Before doing Wine Tours, I exhibited my skills as a professional photographer of 45 years. I held weekly photo workshop tours for photographers from around the world, in the summer months, starting in 2008. My students and I explored every photo opportunity in the Palouse area in Eastern Washington.
